Mandarin Oriental has entered the Greek market with its newly opened resort, the Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino in Messenia. The beachfront resort boasts 99 suites and villas, each featuring terraces and private pools, offering guests an exquisite escape.

Described as a sustainably-driven destination, the new beachfront resort in Messenia has been developed in collaboration with Temes – a leading developer renowned for their commitment to sustainability.

Inspired by local agricultural traditions and the region’s cultural heritage, the resort integrates these elements into its design and offerings, delivering an authentic experience.

The resort’s five restaurants and bars showcase local and international cuisines, emphasizing the region’s flavors. Led by Chef Bertrand Valegeas, the culinary team sources local ingredients to create a gastronomic journey that pays homage to the area.

the destination is home to a 1,500sq m signature spa inspired by the oriental traditions of the Mandarin Oriental Group and the Greek flora that surrounds it. Guests can choose from a range of holistic treatments in the spa’s treatment rooms or outdoors – with products supplied by 111Skin, OSKIA and Aromatherapy Associates.

The spa also boasts a 25-meter swimming pool that offers breath-taking bay views, a traditional Hammam, and herbal sauna.

For those seeking more active pursuits, the beach club presents an array of exciting water activities, from paddle boarding to water skiing.

Culture enthusiasts will find their interests well-served, with an array of experiences including olive oil tastings, traditional cooking classes, and guided tours of local historical sites. The resort also features an 18-hole Bay Course overlooking coastal views.

To celebrate this milestone, Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is offering an enticing Be the First to Stay package, offering guests exclusive benefits including daily breakfast, resort credit, and more.

The Mandarin Oriental Group now operates 37 hotels and nine residences in 25 countries. Earlier this week the hospitality group announced the development of a new luxury resort in Sardinia, which will be located on in the north-east of the island in the heart of Costa Smeralda. Set to open its doors in 2026, this highly anticipated development will mark the Group’s fourth venture in Italy.
