Shangri-La unveils a new global brand film titled "find you Shangri-La" to invite guests to discover local experiences exclusive to their hotels

Earlier this month, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts revealed a captivating new film that celebrates the brand’s commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences. The film, titled “Find Your Shangri-La,” showcases the hotel group’s dedication to personalized and authentic service, highlighting the joyous moments that guests can expect during their stay.

Chairman Hui Kuok expressed the brand’s understanding that each guest has their own unique interpretation of what it means to “Find Your Shangri-La.” With a legacy spanning over 50 years in delighting customers, Shangri-La wanted to emphasize their ability to create special moments for their guests. Through warm and authentic hospitality, the brand film captures the essence of how Shangri-La goes above and beyond to delight their visitors.

Collaborating with the GRAMMY® award-winning director Dave Meyers, the film brings to life fanciful characters representing different guest personas. It chronicles their journeys of finding happiness at various Shangri-La properties, showcasing the delightful and personalised experiences offered at each hotel.

Meyers described Shangri-La as more than just a physical place; it’s a state of mind—a magical world in which one can lose themselves. The process of making the film was an inspiring exploration of what “Shangri-La” means to modern travellers.

To encourage guests to discover their own version of Shangri-La, hotels within the group are offering a range of “Find Your Shangri-La” themed experiences across the globe. These experiences aim to unveil hidden cultural gems exclusive to each destination.

For guests with a taste for exquisite cuisine, Shangri-La has curated exclusive menus inspired by Chinese and regional Asian flavours, interpreted through the hotels’ local culinary cultures. Each menu is unique to the specific hotel, but they all celebrate unexpected flavours and presentations, providing diners with moments of culinary joy. These special menus will be available until August 13, 2023.

In addition to the delectable dining experiences, Shangri-La has crafted a collection of imaginative cocktails and mocktails inspired by the “Find Your Shangri-La” campaign theme. Guests can savour these drinks, such as the “Daydreamer,” “Taste of Eden,” and the “Sky is the Limit,” while being entertained by the brand film’s theme song, “Over the Rainbow.”

Members of the Shangri-La Circle, the brand’s contemporary travel and lifestyle platform, can also enjoy a complimentary #FindYourShangriLa cocktail on Members’ Day, which falls on the sixth of each month. These unique drinks will be available until December 31, 2023.

The “Find Your Shangri-La” menus and special drinks can be enjoyed at selected Shangri-La hotels in France, China, Thailand, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. By offering these exclusive experiences, Shangri-La aims to create unforgettable moments for their guests and further elevate their brand experience.
