Situated in The Address Downtown Hotel, Krasota is a multisensory experience where Russian Haute Cuisine and cutting–edge technology converge. The exclusive and expensive dining experience, with a minimum spend of $650 per person, takes you on a journey through interactive installations, captivating 3D technology, and AI artwork that adorn the tables and curved walls.
The gastro-theatre
Seated around a circular table in an auditorium–like setting, you’ll feel a sense of exclusivity as you indulge in this top–secret NFT Satoshi roundtable discussion–inspired gastronomic journey. While the origins of Krasota can be traced back to Moscow, the dining experience defies any preconceived notions of stereotypical Russian fare. Here, Borsch takes a backseat, and interactive installations steal the spotlight.
The vision behind Krasota
Collaborating with film director Anton Nenashev, Krasota introduces the “Imaginary Art Show,” a remarkable immersive dining experience powered by AI technology. “We wanted to make a statement in the industry,” Zarkov reveals. Adding, “Dubai is a hub for innovation and creativity, and has become the gastronomical capital of the world. We believe that Dubai is the perfect place for us to showcase our unique culinary experience”.
About the menu
The set menu curated by renowned chef Vladimir Mukhin, known from the Netflix show Chef’s Table and his Moscow eatery “White Rabbit,” features an Amuse Bouche and eight courses. Each dish pays homage to masterpieces from legendary contemporary artists of the former Russian Empire, bringing the art to life through visual acts.
The concept of Krasota explores synaesthesia, enhancing the perception of taste through the combination of haute cuisine and technological art. Dishes not only transport you to different eras but also engage and interact with you on a whole new level. From the Artichoke Curry dish with Coconut Rice revealing Nicholas Roerich’s paint strokes to the Black Cod, Plum, and Fig dish immersing you in Ivan Aivazovsky’s painting of the 9th wave, the culinary creations manifest the idea of “we eat with our eyes.”
With Krasota’s intimate setting limited to only 20 guests per show, Zarkov and Mukhin aim to create a cohesive and collaborative dining experience reminiscent of gathering around campfires or in caves throughout human history.
What lies ahead
The first season of Krasota has already gained popularity on Instagram, and the team is set to push the boundaries of culinary innovation and immersive dining even further in their upcoming season, titled “Imaginary Future”, which promises to be equally impressive, pushing the boundaries of culinary innovation and immersive dining even further.
In terms of expansion, Zarkov explains that the team has ambitious plans to expand their unique concept to Saudi Arabia, in the hopes of creating culinary marvels that will captivate diners in new territories. If dining in places that exist only in Christopher Nolan’s film creations is on your bucket list, then a gastro–trip to Krasota is an absolute must.
